One market for the year! But it was worth it.
It's been fun, albeit a little on the warm side. I can hear jingle bells and lyrics of snow and frosty air and I'm dreaming as I swelter!
I'll be back here in April (in time for Mother's Day) so please pop it in your diary and come and see me then!

peace
freshly filled glass orbs, holding a single white feather.
to remind us that Christmas is (or should be) a time of peace.

late night making
It's just past midnight.
My music. My time.
I feel energised and productive.
And I cherish these times.
The heavy coat I've been wearing round lately feels lifted.
I have a market coming up and I'm busy.
Thanks for visiting.

styled
Yah, so it's been a while.
Priorities- get in the way of somethings, sometimes.
Life - moves too, too fast these days.
And so this is a short and sweet share.
I suddenly thought of the wonderful online magazine Styled. Inspiring as ever. You'll love it I'm sure. Click here and you'll pop straight to the magazine link.

I will try my best to come here more often.

Nooks
i have small collections of 'things' around the place.
some are nice enough to share.
my fave in this stack? the pears cyclopaedia from the early 1930's.
and the ball of hemp twine tucked in the corner.
i was recently asked to make a large vintage paper wreath and rather than the usual music sheets i chose to use pages (and pages) from old encyclopedias and vintage magazines, including 'radio television and hobbies' and 'the illustrated carpenter and builder' both from 1960 and both filled with wonderful advertisements and a whole heap of technical information.
thanks for popping by and please say hello!
